New York (USA), September 21, 2016 (SPS) - The King of Spain on Tuesday, Mr. Felipe VI, said that his country supports United Nations efforts aimed at reaching a solution to the Saharawi people, which enable them to exercise their right to self-determination and the decolonization of Western Sahara.
Speaking at UN 71 session of the General Assembly, he called the parties of the conflict "Morocco and the Polisario Front," to resume negotiations to reach a final solution to the conflict in Western Sahara.
It should be recalled that the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 71) started yesterday under the theme: The Sustainable Development Goals : a universal push to transform our world, and will continue until 30 Sept.SPS
