El Aaiun (Occupied Territories), June 04, 2016 (SPS) - The Moroccan authorities sealed Friday all the streets leading to the home of the family of martyr Mohamed Abdelaziz, due to the influx of thousands of Sahrawis wishing to present their condolences to the bereaved family.
According to a source from the Ministry of the occupied territories and community abroad, the Moroccan occupying forces have imposed a state of siege around the home of the family of the deceased, in order to prevent the Sahrawi people from presenting their condolences to the family.
The same forces dismantled a large tent that was erected by the family to welcome the Saharawis, with no regard for international laws, feelings of Sahrawis and respect for religious standards.
In protest against these actions, the family called for lifting the siege imposed around their home, while expressing - in a statement - its solidarity with all peace-loving people and justice and defenders the noble principles of human rights for which the martyr sacrificed to defend throughout his life.
The family expressed its sincere condolences to the Sahrawi people for the loss of their historic leader, Martyr Mohamed Abdelaziz. (SPS)
