Zaragoza hosts training days for Sahrawi diplomatic corps in Spain

Zaragoza (Spain), November 9, 2024 (SPS) - The training days for the Sahrawi diplomatic corps in Spain commenced on Friday at the Central University of Zaragoza, attended by representatives of the Polisario Front in the Spanish provinces, political and legal figures, and representatives of the Spanish community in solidarity with the Sahrawi people.

These training days are dedicated to studying, evaluating, and analyzing a range of issues related to diplomatic work, as well as discussing presentations related to activities in the Spanish arena, along with lectures in various fields concerning the Sahrawi cause politically and legally.

The Dean of Zaragoza University, Antonio Mayoral, highlighted the just cause of the Sahrawi people during the opening of the training session, praising the Sahrawi diplomatic efforts which are founded on the strength of justice and ongoing advocacy for the rights of the Sahrawi people.

For his part, Ambassador for Europe and European Institutions, member of the National Secretariat, Mansour Omar, shed light on the recent developments regarding the Sahrawi cause, emphasizing the strong and distinguished presence of the Sahrawi Republic in international forums, as well as the victories being achieved daily in the field, led by the brave forces of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army.

The opening of the training days was attended by Mansour Omar, member of the National Secretariat in charge of Europe and European Union institutions, Ubbi Bushraya Bashir, the polisario Front representative in Switzerland and at the United Nations and international organizations in Geneva, and Abdullah Al-Arabi, the Polisario Front representative in Spain.
