Canberra (Australia), May 28, 2024 (SPS) - The Representative of the Polisario Front in Australia, Mr. Mohamed Fadel Kamal, participated in the celebrations commemorating Africa Day organized by the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Australia on Tuesday evening.
The celebrations were attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Australia, officials of the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in addition to members of Parliament, and members of the African community residing in Australia.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Representative of the Polisario Front met with many figures who attended the ceremony, including the Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps and several African and Latin American ambassadors.
The celebrations commemorating Africa Day come within the framework of strengthening African-Australian relations, highlighting the important role of the African community in Australian society and shedding the light on the just causes that Africans defend.
It is worth mentioning that Africa Day is commemorated this year under the theme “Education Fit for the 21st Century”.
